Who We Are: We’re a Latinx-led organization and we strongly encourage people of color, immigrants, and LGBTQI+ individuals to join our body of membership and support our cause.

What We Do: As a 501c (4) organization, LCLA serves as a liaison between community members and our vast collective of community partners, elected officials, public servants, grassroot leaders, and members of the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. We engage our partners to develop, advance and implement powerful and effective community-driven solutions and equitable public policy.

Our Impact: LCLA has played a leading role in transforming the social and political landscape in Los Angeles. Over the past eleven years of service, LCLA has successfully engaged over 6,000 community members, and advanced 49 transformative policies, helped elect over 30 public officials, and advocated for thousands of vulnerable families in our city.

Our accomplishments include:

COVID-19 Vaccine expert panels held both in English and Spanish
Spearheaded 10-day, $10,000 fundraising campaign in support of ICE raid victims
Provided free art workshops for 100+ youth in underserved communities
Engaged in 7 days of fundraising and advocacy resulting in $4,000+ for the families of Andres Guardado and Daniel Hernandez
